Your kids will love these. Don’t have kids? That’s okay… you will love them, too.
You don’t love them? That’s okay, too… your dog will be in heaven.
No dog?
Your cat will paw at it, chase it and eventually eat it on your pillow at 3:42 am. And, probably puke at 4:21am. Because cats puke sometimes.
No cat? My goodness… get a Tegu. They eat anything.
But, chances are, there won’t be leftovers for your pets. Heck, there might not be any left for your kid, for that matter. Shhhh…. make these in the middle of the night, and stash them in your high fiber cereal box.
I won’t tell. 😉
These are made with a boxed cornbread mix… you know the one; it’s super cheap and blue and white. It’s about as classic as an apron, and can be made into a multitude of treats. Especially these. But: you have to doctor up the mix. I’m giving you all a PhD for the kitchen here. Since I have one, I am free to give em’… right?
Using your kitchen PhD; utilize this classic box with some creamed corn, melted butter and sugar.
Slice up some hot-diggity-dogs.
Hot-Diggity-Dog. FLASHBACK !
First grade. One of my closest friends, was Shenette. Her sister was Shilette. (Like the razor) Anyway… they were fraternal twins, and Shenette always said “Hot Diggity Dog” at happy things.
You know, like finding Oreos in your lunchbox, or winning first grade  bingo.
HOT DIGGITY DOG.
That’s the word(s) of the day.
So: what is your hot diggity dog moment today? Has it happened already? Are you anticipating it?
My hot diggity dog moment recently was when I pulled out my sewing machine and managed to whip up a tablecloth and bench cushion all in one day. A big feat, considering the hectic days I have. Â Another hot diggity dog moment? Â Finding $20 in a old purse. Score.
I’m anticipating a hot diggity dog moment later on in the year. A huge, life changing -monumental hot diggity dog day. I’m claiming it. It’s going to happen. And, yes… I will tell you all about it. For now, I gotta keep quiet. I can’t even share pics… yet. (I know, boooooo!)
Soon.
Well, hopefully within the year.
Now: the hot diggity dog part of these don’t have to be unhealthy. You can put in turkey dogs, or even veggie dogs. Trust me: they’re good.
So, go on, get your hot diggity dog on!
