green giant veg pledge part one~ how to & will you?
As you know, I like to work with companies that have good ideas. When Foodbuzz approached me and some other bloggers to participate in the Green Giant Veg Pledge- I jumped right in. The Green Giant veg pledge is committing to incorporate one more cup of veggies into your diet, everyday for two weeks. Simple enough for me… but I decided to include the whole family in this event. Me and the hubs shouldn’t have any problem with it… the kids, on the other hand. Well, sometimes they magically get “full” when certain veggies show up.
For instance this morning:
Spinach in the quiche resulted in “instant fullness” for my stepdaughter.
I realize I will have to get creative with the children.
So, in the next two weeks I will be sharing some new recipes for vegetables. I hoping some of them will be kid friendly (aka- no instant “full”) I also have some “tricky” recipes I’m going to try. (Avocado mousse, anyone?)
I can’t tell you what they are now; since I think my stepdaughter reads this site on occasion…
