Guinness flank steak

My hubby and I had a Sunday afternoon date the other day… we went to see a B-Liminal concert in the park, (which happens to be a local band that is beyond awesome) but before that, we stopped at a little Irish pub for a beer. So, being without kids, we sat at the bar and pondered the Guns N Roses being played in the background, and the topic of food came up,since GNR had the spaghetti incident album. Which made hubby ask if I could find a Guinness flank steak recipe. Cold beer in bars makes for interesting conversation.

Guess what I did?

Yep. You guys are so smart.

And… now that I have some Guinness in my fridge… I just may make some cupcakes. This is Guiness. In case you’ve never seen it.

It’s dark. Think molasses colored.

See? I told you! 😉

Give your steak some time to soak up the marinade and then grill it till med-rare.
