sushi, anyone?


These are blackfin tuna… we caught them in Islamorada at the “hump” which is about 15-20 miles offshore. Nothing works out there…it’s like the twilight zone for fishing. But, the venture was bountiful. (there were a few charter boats out there with us so I wasn’t too worried) I brought my trusty foodsaver on our trip and saved all the fillets, froze em up and mmmmm SUSHI this week. If you have never made homemade sushi, you will be amazed at how easy it is and what a ton it makes. I may have some past sushi photos… if I do I will post em. I will try to do a step by step of the making… more to come!
