buckwheat noodles

There’s something about a cold noodle dish that’s spicy. It just works. Unlike cold coffee and warm beer… cold noodles work. Really well. This is basic- and you can get away with using regular ol noodles if you prefer. It’s the sauce that makes it.

my arsenol: red pepper flakes, toasted sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and noodles.

Not pictured: scallions and green onions

Cook up your noodles al dente and toss with;

4 tbs soy sauce

2 tbs toasted sesame oil

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp ginger powder

1 tsp red pepper flakes

1 sliced scallion

handful of snow peas. I wanted carrots… but I was out… 🙁

See? So easy.

Okay, It has been really healthy this week…. and I’m craving lemon bars. Time for some comfort food. Don’t ya think?
