another hashbrown casserole

Remember a while back when I made the cheesy baked hash browns? Well, this is the ORIGINAL version of that dish. Y’all will love it- it’s easy, and satisfies that comfort food craving.

I usually avoid the recipes that call for a can of condensed soup, but this one I made on a busy mama day and it ended up as a keeper.

so, take 1 32oz bag of frozen hash browns (thawed) add 1 cup canned (eek) cream of chicken soup,  1/2 chopped onion, 1/2 c milk and 1 c shredded cheese. Mix well and ad some fresh pepper and a dash of garlic powder and a dash of salt. Spread onto your favorite casserole and bake at 375°for 1 hour. Pull it out and top with a bit more cheese. Let it set for 15-20 min before digging in. *you can also add some fresh chives to this dish- I’ve been known to do that.

Plans for the week ahead? Taking requests now, because I am stumped. 🙁
