Well, hello there! I’m back from a bit of a blogging break over the holidays and I’m officially tired of sweets. How about you? I’m sure that this is a temporary lapse of reasoning on my tummy’s part… because I still dream about fluffy cupcakes and” fair food”.
(Our fair will be in town in a couple weeks, I think that explains the fair food dreams.)
Yay to that. There will be the yearly battle for my husband to get me to go on some crazy high ride, and I will be psycho hand sanitizer mom with my girls. But, the corn dogs and cotton candy are totally worth it. Until then, I’ll probably be making lots of these:
Olive and Swiss Paninis…However, I ended up using artichoke tapenade in place of the olive tapenade the recipe called for. I was feeling more festive than olives.
Artichokes are total holiday food in my book. 🙂
This recipe is a gourmet grilled cheese, using nutty creamy Swiss cheese in place of the more traditional American. And with a big thick slice of a tomato, it’s a crisp and cheesy sandwich made in heaven. Anything with cheese is made in heaven in my book.
