On occasion, I get the opportunity to try some products and share my two cents worth of opinions. This happens to be one of those occasions. I have to admit, I love free food. But, don’t get me wrong- I’m not a “freetarian” What’s a freetarian, you ask? Well, when I was in my twenties and managed a health food store, there was a group of hippies that used to shop there. They were all in their early twenties, and I was leaning closer to thirty, to be exact, but that’s not the point. The point is, they were “freetarians” – which meant that they didn’t pay for anything. Really. They didn’t agree with how our society forces you to buy basic needs. They crashed out on assorted couches, traded their clothes at local thrift stores and ate whatever free food they could find. You could say they were “homeless” but, most of them attended college and , they were also “straight edge” which meant they didn’t consume drugs or alcohol. Anyway, I have a feeling most of them graduated and are now part of the “occupy” movement.
Just a thought.
Foodbuzz provided me with some free food,
My choice of an Alexa product. Yay! I decided to chose something that could be more of an entree than a side dish…
it came with a chipotle seasoned Olive oil that I wish they sold by itself. It’s “oh-my-goodness” good.
You can totally omit the chorizo; I had purchased it separately to add to it. Since there are black beans in with the sweet potatoes, it make it a more balanced meal- since they provide the protein.
I made wraps with mine, drizzled with a little bit of ranch. Ooo this is a good ten minute meal.
I’d even pay for it. 😉
