I like love making savory breakfast things that can be eaten with one hand…. I think that’s because I’m a mama and there was a period when my daughter was younger when she was attached to me like a little monkey on my hip. So, for about 6 months I learned to do a lot with one hand.
Sometimes, that’s a good thing- sometimes it’s not. Opening cans, for instance. That sucks to do with one hand.
Sure, I set her down… on occasion.
Like, for opening cans.
But, now she’s big and grabs her blue chain and gets right beside me to stir, break eggs and steal tastes. She’s an evolving monkey.
I made a video on how to make these…it was for a “Lea n Perrins Shine at Dinnertime” contest. I won’t know until Friday if I’m a finalist, there’s a lot of awesome videos against me… it didn’t help that I had no clue what I was doing with my camcorder…eeek. The sound is off… just pretend you’re watching a dubbed ninja cooking show. That’s the ticket…
If you want to see me pimping Lea n Perrins and my quiche recipe…go here. I don’t think I’m allowed to put it here. (yet)
