cheesy firecrackers

Y’all… these are like giant cheese crackers that rhyme with “its”. I think you know what I mean. But: these are better… because they are homemade, big and have a tiny hint of sweet that makes you literally crave them. Featuring Millers Banana Pepper sauce, and also part of the recipe challenge they invited me to take a part in. (Wish me luck!)

This recipe is a twist on the classic Kentucky Firecrackers

First off: Line a tray with good ol’ saltines. I used whole grain ones.

This here is the secret weapon, because you’re going to brush the crackers with a mixture of melted butter and Miller’s Banana Pepper sauce.

Sprinkle with crumbled feta , and some all purpose seasoning.

Bake & serve. I have a fondness for the extra crispy type crackers, that’s why I’ve got some extra toasty ones.

You can make a trio of these crackers for game day, so nobody gets left out.
