peanut butter pinwheels #eastersweetsweek

Hi there!
Here we are in day three of Easter Sweets Week,
and today I have an easy, no bake candy for you. This is so easy even a caveman could do it. (Remember those commercials?)

Anyway, these are really easy and melt in your mouth good.

But first: the usual disclaimer the FCC requires:

Disclaimer: These posts and recipes are part of the week long event, #EasterSweetsWeek but all opinions are 100% mine! We would like Thank our amazing sponsors: Dixie Crystals, Adam’s Extract, Rainier Fruit, Anolon and Microplane! These wonderful sponsors provided the prize packs for our giveaways and also sent samples and products to the #EasterSweetsWeek bloggers to use in their recipes.

Okay, now that we have that out of the way: Let’s move on.
I was slightly crazy to sign up for this. But, I am also super happy I did. Because what most of y’all don’t know is what is happening behind the scenes.
As much as I wanted to have all my posts done well in advance, such has not been the case. I am making them each day and writing them early in the am.
This week is our “spring break” from homeschooling, so I have an ounce of free time to finally create, photograph and write.
I am also in the midst of a fast; so most of my creations are going into bellies of people other than myself. (I’m “off” meat, coffee, & sugar)
I’m also fasting scrolling through facebook, (I have to still promote #eastersweetsweek on facebook, but I’m not letting it suck me into the feed)
SO: what’s my point?
TIME
Etching out an ounce of time to complete a task I purposely signed up for, etching out time to do something I love, and etching out time to not allow distraction.
It seems impossible to etch out time in a day when there is never enough, but recognizing the time thieves will help you to claim back what’s rightfully yours.
I wrote more about finding (and fighting) your time thieves here: Taking back time

Back to the recipe:

First you make a simple powdered sugar and cream and butter dough, (less than 5 minutes to make!)

Tint it, roll it out:

Spread with creamy peanut (or almond butter)
