Guys- this recipe  is another flash in the pan and straight to the plate.
We need meals like those in life.
Our lives are busy. Which sucks because life is short, and things like good food and sharing meals together should be more sacred. Things like sitting together, at an actual table, breaking bread and actually talking.. not eating holding your plate standing, rushing to get it down to move onto the next task.
But, I understand. There are things to do.
So, if I save y’all some time with the meal preparation; it will give you time to enjoy it, and the company you share it with.
My goal here is to inspire you to prepare food; and to share it with your people, nourish your body and being.

Nourish both physically with food, and nourish your spirit, your heart and relationships. Food has a magical power to provide both.
Now: without further ado….
easy shrimp scampi
Ingredients
- 1 lb thawed peeled and deveined shrimp (medium or larger)
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 tbs olive oil
- 1 tsp fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tsp all purpose seasoning (I use Badia)
- 1 tbs fresh chopped herbs -can be singular or a mixture of parsley, dill, oregano, basil, chives)
- 1 tsp cornstarch, disolved in 1 oz water
Instructions
- melt butter with olive oil over medium heat
- add garlic and sauté 1 minute
- add shrimp and stir occasionally until shrimp are pink and firm
- while mixer is simmering stir in the cornstarch and stir until sauce thickens add seasoning to taste
- Plate and add fresh herbs to garnish
