peanut butter buttons

Peanut butter buttons a cross between a cookie and a candy, a dough and a nougat. Yum!
But, before I begin there, I have to tell you what has happened recently..

I’m sure you all know how my site was down a few days last week, it turns out my site was hacked without me knowing, which caused it to be blacklisted from Google.
I finally found a company to scan it, and it turns out there was no mal-ware found. (Whew!) So, after much pleading with Google to re-evaluate it, I am back. I also have a small army protecting my site now, so nothing like that happens again. Thank goodness for monthly payment plans. 🙂
In other news, my daughter got sick, and a gut feeling told me to get her to the urgent care center on Sunday afternoon.
Sitting in the office, the doctor was telling me, “I’m pretty certian it’s just a virus, her lungs sound good, her ears and throat are clear, there is no need to expose her to radiation…” then, in the same sentence he said, “so, wait right here and I will get the technician.”
So… I’m dumbfounded and heading in for an x-ray with her.
Turns out, there was a spot on her lower left lobe of her lung. Pneumonia.
These next few days are pretty critical, she will either get better or worse… so prayers are always appreciated.
And, it turns out, I have never been more grateful for all the kidness and compassion that has already come from my friends trough this site.
Yeah, you’re not just readers, you’re friends.
I’m thankful for doctors that change their mind on a dime, too.

Now: these buttons are really easy, no baking, and just one bowl.
I know, it’s starting to cool off in some places, and y’all are ready to bake. Me too. I made these last week… I promise we will bake something this week. Deal? Deal!
