Now, before you get grossed out or bummed it’s not a cupcake, keep reading. There’s some things you may like hearing about in this post. 😉 (That have nothing to do with fish-or balls for that matter.)
Yes, these were my “tuna balls” the yummy dish with the gross name. I finally thought of a name. Ya-hoo to that. You can most likely make them with chicken or other types of fish… I made these with tuna, because my hubby went on a fishing trip and came home with a ton of tuna- and I was wanting something other than sushi (can you believe that?!)
These have a spicy sesame flavor…with a slight hint on onion and ginger.
Heck, they may even be good with beef. I know all of y’all aren’t near the sea.
Speaking of the sea… sea lice are real bad now. No swimming for me!!! Sea lice are actually jellyfish larva that burrow in your skin and make you itch like crazzzzzzy. Not fun. I feel bad for the tourists that don’t know what sea lice are- 🙁
Hey, look you learned something from me.
I helped my hubby find one of his purposes in life this weekend. That was cool. I will tell you about that later…for now, lt’s just say his outlook on his daily interactions with society in general are viewed as opportunities to change someones day from negative to positive. Which presents a challenge to you all out there…(keep reading)
First these:
I know how expensive fish is, and to (gasp!) put it in a food processor… well, may seem wasteful to some. However, I assure you all of this fish was in me belly, over a few days, of course. These made the perfect little nibble lunch. I love nibble lunches, big lunches made me sleepy. If I am sleepy at lunchtime, that ‘s not good. Hmmm, maybe I should have named these nibble lunches?
So, after you pulse it a few times, it starts to look like ground beef.
I added sesame oil, onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce and some spicy sauce with a rooster on it that I don’t know how to spell….
Now, here’s my little “go out and make the world nicer message”
I dare you to compliment a total stranger today. It dosen’t have to be a fake one…or a pick up line, either- just tell the cashier you like her earrings…or that she has a nice smile…but only say it if you really mean it. Get it? You may have to look for something you like in someone, and that’s the whole point. Start looking at what you like in people, not what you don’t like.
I know all y’all do that anyway.
But go make someone else do it, too. 😉
