bread bowls

As requested! I use this basic french bread recipe for the bowls, basic bread, and it makes an excellent pizza dough! I am lucky enough to have a bread machine- which I only use as a dough machine (lol) but, you can also do it the ol fashion way, too! This makes a nice yeasty, crusty, chewy loaf. Just what homemade bread should be!

1 1/3 c warm water add 4tsp yeast,5tsp sugarand proof- (let it get foamy) to it; add 2tsp olive oil, 1 1/2 tsp salt and 4 c bread flour. Mix well into a dough. Knead 5 min. Let rise 45 min, punch down and knead another 5 min.  Let rise another 45min. Punch down and shape into desired shape (bowls, loaf, baguettes, etc…) allow to rise once more and bake at 350 for 20-30 min- or until loaf sounds hollow when tapped. Before baking, I usually brush the tops with either milk or butter. Keep the comments coming~ they make me happy, and inspire me to keep sharing~ and sharing is caring as the Care Bears would say…. 🙂 Love, MK
