#summerdessertweek cherry vanilla tart

Ingredients

  • 1 pre baked tart or pie shell 9″
  • 10 ounces black cherries pitted
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine the eggs, heavy cream, sugar, vanillla and salt. Beat at low speed until combined
  • Gently pour into prebaked pie shell, and arrange cherries throughout.
  • Place in a preheated 350F oven and bake 30-35 minutes
