buffalo chicken sandwiches with celery slaw

I have to give my hubby credit for the meat part, and I thought up the slaw. I love it when he has good ideas for dinner, because believe it or not- I get stumped sometimes.  When I get stumped, it’s taco night.

Speaking of being stumped- I can’t decide what to paint my kitchen. The only color I have decided on is primer so far.

Which, reminds me of a  white chalkboard.

I am not even sure if you need a recipes for these, or just an explanation. What do you think?

It’s idiot proof.

You take two chicken breasts.

Soak em in buffalo sauce for an hour…or eight.

Dip em in flour, back into the wing sauce, and then bread crumbs. They will look like this:

Now, cook them over med-high heat in a small amount of oil for about 4 minutes each side.

Place it on a bun, and top with celery slaw.

Celery slaw?

Super easy.

Thinly slice two stalks of celery, add to it 1/2 c finely shredded cabbage or lettuce. Mix with 3-4 tbs blue cheese dressing and 1 tbs crumbled blue cheese.

Now, I also want to tell you about a few things going on-

First of all! I have been selected to be a share our strength ambassador. What’s this mean?

Join me in support of Yahoo!’s $20,000 commitment to Share our Strength! This is a quick (30-second) way to commend Yahoo! for its partnership with an organization working to end hunger in the America.

To show its appreciation, Yahoo! has committed to donate $20,000 to Share Our Strength on behalf of US, the Foodbuzz community of publishers and readers.

In turn, you have the opportunity to show your support of this partnership by setting Yahoo! as your homepage by clicking on this link. Like what they’re doing? Let them know by changing your homepage!

Here are two things you can do raise awareness about this important cause:

1. Make Yahoo! your homepage now.
2. Share the campaign with your Facebook friends and Twitter followers.

Pretty cool, huh?

The second thing is there is a contest out there- and the deadline is July 31st- It’s a cake contest for Southern Living. I’m not sure if I have the time to do it… so I am helping by spreading the word. Here’s a link to it:

Good luck to everyone!
