Shelled Pound cake
Ingredients

pound cake
1
lb
confectionary coating or chocolate
Instructions
Prepare desired pound cake, this can be a mix or homemade
Place cake in freezer for 1 hour
clean pan and coat with a light layer of neutral oil
melt desired coating per package instructions
coat pan thoroughly with melted coating and while still soft, align cake back into pan
Allow coating to set fully (you may place in freezer for faster setting)
gently umnmold, you may use a thin knife to encourage separation along the edges if needed
If cracks occur, repair with melted coating and a fine brush
