fresh basta with lemon pepper butter sauce

Ingredients

ounces
of pasta
either fresh or boxed cooked according to package directions
1/2
stick butter
4
TBS
flour
3
TBS
lemon juice
1
tsp
lemon zest
1
cup
low fat milk
1
tsp
salt
2
tbs
Parmesan cheese
fresh black pepper
Instructions
In a saucepan, over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the flour and stir to form a thick paste. Add the milk, salt and Parmesan cheese.
Continue to cook until thickened.
Stir in the lemon juice and pepper and pour over the pasta.
Garnish with more pepper and zest if desired.
